begin your vision board

Today, Five Minutes in the Morning instructs us to start our vision board by listing our personal and professional goals. Then, write down some images that correspond to the goals.

Having a visual reminder of our goals gives us a clearer understanding of what we actually want.

For example, if one of your personal goals is to be calmer, what kinds of images would remind you of that goal? A picture of a beach? A misty forest? Grogu meditating? There’s no wrong answer; whatever images resonate with you are the right images.

Interestingly enough, I went to a vision board/New Year’s Eve party in 2019. I burned it as part of a ritual this New Year’s Eve, and I wish I had some pictures of it. True to my writer form, most of the images on my board were words – an Osho quote a Paisley Reckdal poem, things like that. When parties are a thing again, I’d like to host a vision board party. It was a nice way to invite some visualizing energy into 2020. That is, before 2020 did its thing.

Here’s what I wrote for today’s prompt, along with some images:

Personal Aims
