Visualization is a specific form of imagining where the outcome of your desired future is more likely to happen.
Note: this isn’t about controlling or fixing the future – how can you fix what hasn’t yet happened? This is about fostering a mindset of openness to the point where the details don’t matter, only the outcome.
Today, Five Minutes in the Morning prompts us to imagine that it’s already Friday.
Set your timer for five minutes and write down three things that you’re proud of for accomplishing this week.
Here’s what I wrote:
I am proud that I understand the new systems @ work. I am happy to help people get their needs met & bring easement into their life.
I am so proud that I’ve been able to let go of so many old, unhelpful, judgmental thoughts. I’ve realized those are only illusions – attack thoughts that attack my own invulnerability. I have no use for such illusions; nothing unreal exists.
I am proud of myself for making the time for my writing. I have blog posts ready to go & feel good about them. I’ve successfully posted to the blog for 31 days straight. I don’t think I ever doubted I could, but it’s nice to see the finished product. On to 31 more!
